The deploy job failed with exit code 126 (cannot execute). This repo is
authored on Windows with core.filemode=false, so bin/copy-viz.sh was
committed as 100644 and the Linux runner refused to run it.

Sets the exec bit explicitly via update-index, and calls the script with
`bash` so the step survives the bit being lost again on a future Windows
commit. Line endings were already safe -- .gitattributes forces LF on *.sh.

Earlier passes summarised the Google Sites content rather than transcribing
it. Re-extracted every page from the served HTML and restored the original
wording, structure, and links.

Content:
- Project pages were bullet lists, not prose; restored, along with detail
that had been dropped (SafeUAS framing, 7-discipline/102-variable
breakdown, VAM correction, 0.22% efficiency result).
- Recovered ~90 outbound links the summariser had eaten: 27 personal
profiles on /people/, per-project DOIs, ResearchGate downloads, and the
  Drive slide decks.
- Added /research/, a whole page that had been collapsed into a project
list, and moved the project index to /projects/.
- Recruitment form URL recovered and wired into /join/ and the homepage.

Images:
- 37 harvested from the live site at original resolution, organised as
people/<slug> and research/<project>/. News images could not be
retrieved: every URL 403s in all forms, unlike other pages on the same
CDN, so assets/img/news/<year>/ is prepared but empty.
- News items now take an optional image via a local news.liquid override,
which serves both the homepage announcements and /news/.

Student resources:
- 34 entries moved to _data/resources.yml and rendered as a filterable
index (who / what / where). Descriptions and all 43 links are carried
across verbatim; adding an opportunity is now a data edit.

Also: news dates show month and year only, homepage drops the profile card,
service dates are right-aligned, and both Pokhrel papers are cited.
